A deposit is required to secure your spot. Deposits must be received within 7 days of receiving your booking email in order for your spot to be secure. All Deposits are non-refundable, no exceptions. A 4% processing fee is added to all credit card charges.

South Texas Hunting Outfitters reserves the right to cancel or postpone any type of hunt due to inclement weather or other conditions that are an act of God. If South Texas Hunting Outfitters cancels a hunt due to inclement weather we will reschedule anytime that is available for both parties within 1 year of the original hunt date. South Texas Hunting Outfitters will work with your schedule to the best of our ability. On certain hunts with shorter seasons (ie. Turkey season) the deposit may be applied to another hunt or rescheduled for the following season.

If a client cancels a hunt or does not make the hunt on the agreed upon day, he or she forfeits their deposit. If a member of a group cancels he or she forfeits their deposit, their deposit does not get applied to the total cost of the groups hunt.

We structure our package hunts so that all you have to do is show up and let us take care of the rest. Everything is included in your package except: Alcohol, transportation to and from the ranch, gratuities for guides/chef, hunting license, and taxidermy. Private airport transportation from Junction and Beeville airport is included but this must be arranged in advance. If you would like to use one of our custom rifles please notify us in advance (free of charge).

Trophy care after harvest is included (caping / quartering), we work closely with several reputable taxidermists and meat processors and will be happy to take care of the mounting/ processing of your trophy as well for an additional fee.

Our professional guides and chefs will do everything they can to make sure you are comfortable and enjoy your hunt with us. Months of preparation goes into making your hunt a success. Please take this into consideration when tipping, the average tip for STHO guides is 10-20% of the total hunt cost. (ie. $10,000 hunt = $1,000- $2,000 tip).
